Todd has developed a particular specialty in mediating large, multi-party disputes arising out of alleged construction defects and design errors and omissions.  For example, he was fortunate enough to work with counsel for a project owner, general contractor and nearly a dozen subcontractors on a multi-million dollar dispute arising out of alleged waterproofing defects in the design and construction of a multifamily residential tower; counsel for design and construction professionals in the settlement of a lawsuit alleging errors in a retail shopping center's grading and groundwater management plan; and counsel for a project owner, numerous contractors and their insurers in a complex dispute which originated as a suit over alleged construction defects at a waste transfer station and ultimately involved both liability and complex insurance issues .
