Todd has significant experience mediating a vast array of insurance matters including complex coverage disputes, bad faith claims and subrogation suits.  Representative engagements include a suit filed by the port authority of a major Texas port city to recover business interruption coverage for losses suffered as a result of a fire at the port facility; suit filed by the owner of a downtown Dallas office building for property coverage and alleged bad faith damages after suffering damage to its building from a gas line explosion; and a subrogation suit filed by a major international insurer to recover sums it had paid out under an environmental policy for cleanup of pollution following a week-long underground leak at a gasoline station.  In each of those cases, Todd's continuing efforts to bring the parties to a resolution after mediation ultimately resulted in full and final settlement.
